In this practical and engaging seminar, Anna O’Kennedy of Great Speechwriting will share expert insights on how to network with confidence and impact.

Nearly 90% of professionals experience nerves around networking and many avoid it altogether.

This session is designed to help you walk into the conference feeling prepared, confident, and ready to connect.

You’ll gain practical techniques to:

  • Understand why networking feels difficult and how to overcome it
  • Learn how to start conversations naturally (no awkward small talk)
  • Build a simple, practical networking toolkit you can use immediately
  • Get clear on how to explain what you do without corporate jargon
  • Leave with a clear plan on who to speak to and how

Run by the University of Bedfordshire’s Luton AI in collaboration with its close partner Switchshop, this interactive cyber incident simulation is designed for senior leaders navigating digital risk, operational disruption and business resilience.

Across the day, a realistic cyber scenario will unfold in short, high-impact episodes, placing delegates at key decision points as the situation escalates. Audience choices will shape the outcome, revealing the operational, commercial, reputational and leadership consequences of responding to a cyber incident in real time. The session will draw out practical lessons on resilience, risk, governance and preparedness in an increasingly connected business environment.

In a global environment that is hugely challenging for raising new capital, who is investing in what and where?
